About me

Noel Poltronieri Eppelin was born in Costa Rica in 2004. After her family moved to Seattle in 2016, she decided to go back to her roots to study in film in San José, Costa Rica. During her 2 year program at University Véritas, she directed 'Transformistas' (2023) a documentary. While studying she began working as an editor at Wanabana Net, a visual content agency. In her last year of career she directed 'Pasajes' (2024) that won Best Experimental short film at the International Festival Ícaro in Guatemala and her latest short fiction 'Dormidas' (2024) which will have its international premier in Linz, Austria.

Besides directing, she has had diverse experiences in the lighting & camera department as camera assistant and grip technician. As well as assistant director for short films.
